What We Believe
At Discovered Freedom Ministries, we believe the entire Bible is true, alive, and fully relevant today. We don’t build on trends or personalities, but on the unshakable foundation of God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit.
These convictions shape everything we do—from one-on-one prayer to discipleship and Spirit-led teaching. Our focus is to help believers walk in healing, freedom, and spiritual maturity—always pointing back to Jesus as the source of truth and transformation.
We serve not because we’re perfect, but because we’re surrendered. Like Paul said, we preach Christ—not ourselves. We encourage every believer to stay rooted in their local church and use what they receive here to grow in faith, witness, and service.
We serve in prayer ministry and walk in alignment with the Body of Christ under biblical authority. While our ministry focuses on healing, deliverance, and equipping, we share the same Gospel mission: to make disciples and grow in spiritual maturity.
Local Church Membership History:
If you’re hungry for truth, seeking breakthrough, or ready to walk in bold obedience, we invite you to explore the biblical foundations we stand on—not as doctrinal checkboxes, but as a call to live fully alive in Christ.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God.
We believe every word of scripture is God-breathed, fully authoritative, and the foundation for all teaching, correction, and training in righteousness.
We believe the Christian faith is defined by the life, teachings, and finished work of Jesus Christ—as revealed through the inspired Word of God. We interpret Scripture through a Spirit-led, Protestant lens—anchored in biblical authority, guided by the Holy Spirit, and aligned with the Great Commission.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 AMPC
16 Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),
17 So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Salvation is a free gift, not earned by works, and is available to all who repent and believe in the death, resurrection, and lordship of Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8–9 AMPC
8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;
9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]
Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life—and the only mediator between God and humanity.
John 14:6 AMPC
Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.
1 Timothy 2:5 AMPC
For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
The Holy Spirit leads, empowers, and sanctifies believers.
We believe in the baptism, gifts, and leading of the Holy Spirit for daily living, prayer, and service.
Romans 8:14 AMPC
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Acts 1:8 AMPC
But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.
Freedom in Christ includes healing, deliverance, and holiness.
We believe Jesus still heals the sick, delivers the oppressed, and calls believers to live holy lives empowered by His Spirit.
We don’t believe freedom means a life without hardship—but a life filled with God’s presence, purpose, and power in the midst of it.
Isaiah 53:5 AMPC
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
Galatians 5:1 AMPC
In [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you have once put off].
We are called to make disciples, not dependents.
Every believer is commissioned to share the Gospel, grow in maturity, and help others walk in obedience to Christ.
We believe in equipping believers to serve within their own local churches and communities, just as Paul partnered with churches across regions.
Matthew 28:19–20 AMPC
19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).
2 Timothy 2:2 AMPC
And the [instructions] which you have heard from me along with many witnesses, transmit and entrust [as a deposit] to reliable and faithful men who will be competent and qualified to teach others also.
Obedience to God's Word produces fruit and transformation.
We are called not just to hear the Word, but to obey it, walk in sanctification, and reflect Christ in our daily lives.
James 1:22 AMPC
But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].
John 15:5 AMPC
I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
Prayer is our lifeline and weapon.
We believe in Spirit-led, scripture-based prayer—including intercession, warfare, worship, and prophetic prayer—as key to victory and relationship with God.
Ephesians 6:18 AMPC
Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).
Romans 8:26–27 AMPC
26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.
27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.
The Church is a unified Body, not a brand.
We honor and support other believers, leaders, and ministries who follow Christ, valuing unity and spiritual alignment over control or self-promotion.
Ephesians 4:2–3 AMPC
2 Living as becomes you—with complete lowliness of mind (humility) and meekness (unselfishness, gentleness, mildness), with patience, bearing with one another and making allowances because you love one another.
3 Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of [and produced by] the Spirit in the binding power of peace.
1 Corinthians 12:12–13 AMPC
12 For just as the body is a unity and yet has many parts, and all the parts, though many, form [only] one body, so it is with Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
13 For by [means of the personal agency of] one [Holy] Spirit we were all, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free, baptized [and by baptism united together] into one body, and all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit.
Jesus is coming again—and we live ready.
We believe in the return of Christ and seek to live in faith, obedience, and urgency, preparing ourselves and others for His return.
Matthew 24:42–44 AMPC
42 Watch therefore [give strict attention, be cautious and active], for you do not know in what kind of a day [whether a near or remote one] your Lord is coming.
43 But understand this: had the householder known in what [part of the] night (whether in a night or a morning) the thief was coming, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be undermined and broken into.
44 You also must be ready therefore, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him.
2 Peter 3:10–14 AMPC
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the [material] elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.
11 Since all these things are thus [in the process of being] dissolved, what kind of person ought [each of] you to be [in the meanwhile] in consecrated and holy behavior and devout and godly qualities,
12 While you wait and earnestly long for (expect and hasten) the coming of the day of God…
13 But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide.
14 So, beloved, since you are expecting these things, be eager to be found by Him [at His coming] without spot or blemish and at peace [in serene confidence, free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts].
